Of course you want an outfit that not only looks great but makes you feel great too.
The wedding day is not an occasion to experiment. You should choose a color that you know suits you and flatters your complexion. It goes without saying that your choice of color should not clash with the mother of the groom or the bridal party.
And you do not have to limit yourself to one color. For example, wearing a darker color on your upper body can be slimming if you are heavier above the waist. And vice versa of course. So make sure you take your body shape into account when picking your colors.

This is not only to check color but to ensure that the heel height goes with length of the outfit. This is particularly important if you are going to be wearing trousers or a full length dress or skirt.
And don’t forget to wear your shoes about the house before the big day. This is doubly important if you do not normally wear high heels.
